R-U-A Guitar Hero? Live Competition

Monday, February 11, 2008 students in the Sports & Entertainment program at Fontbonne University will be hosting the R-U-A Guitar Hero? Live Competition.

Registration is $15.00 in advance $20.00 at the door. Advance registration can be completed by sending and email to R-U-A Guitar Hero or register at the Fontbonne University Business Office. If registering by email the advance registration fee can be paid at check-in the night of the tournament.

Must be 16 years old to participate in the tournament.

For tournament rules send an email to R-U-A Guitar Hero and indicate that you would like to receive the tournament rules.

All event procceds from the tournament including an Extreme Silent Auction will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network.

Now that Rock Band is out are people still playing Guitar Hero? I gave Guitar Hero III a solid score (an 8.5 if I remember correctly), but I can't say as I've played it at all since Rock Band came out.

Yep but it's a great cause and we are supporting them with some stuff for the tournament and getting the word out about the event. If you are in the area make sure to come out and event if you don't play make a donation of at least a buck or two.
