Don't get slimed! I'm not sure about this one. You know what they say about video games and movies. Yet, I am curious as to how they laid this one out. It's been years since Ghost buster I and II, and from what I have seen so far this game will be one for the kiddies, comic micheif and what-not. Since I'm a kid at heart I might like this one, if they come correct. They really have to step up to get my attention. The projected release date for the game is in in June 2009.

However, it has come to light that there is a rumored release dat for a Ghostbusters III movie in 2012. I wouldn't bank on the movie happening then, as it appears that they don'ty have their stuff together. Most of the major characters aren't even committed to the movie, according to public knowledge.

The upcoming game is definitely a "Let's wait and see". I might only consider this one fron the "used" rack if it has some weight.

Speak out if you know anything about it.

Ok, so now I have heard a few rumors about which game systems will be offered to play this game, the so called rumors of exclusion included the Wii, Xbox 360, DS systems. It has been said that Sony has this game locked-down just for them.

The Real Deal is that the game is slated to be released In June, 2009 for the Wii , PS3, PS2, PSP, and the DS. No love for the 360 what so ever, I don't like it but, I guess I understand, since Microsoft does the same thing with games.

If it was really true that Sony would exclude ALL other platforms, then it would be a really bad decision for Atari to even associate with Sony, don't you think? So what have you heard? What's really real? Please give your comments.

Sorry I have to correct you on that one there is no love for the Wii, or DS. Ghostbusters will only see the PS3 and the PS2 when it hits the street in June. The PSP version however is coming out in the Fall. Atari is also planing on releasing a version later this year in the PAL format for our friends across the pod later. Doesn't matter to me really I'm just looking forward to busting some ghost.

I said that it would be on the Wii and the DS because of the advetisement that our friends at Game Stop have for it. Somebody at Atari needs to clarify what's really real. Click on the pics to check it out.

OK, I am gonna have to take back my words about what was previously said. I talked some big smack about it, and now the only thing that I can say is, "The game is awesome!" I decided to go and pick it up this weekend despite my skepticism, and I see now that I didn't go wrong.

The game is set after the second movie. In "Career Mode", you can start off as a rookie Ghostbuster and work you way up. I am about 1/4 they way through on "Career Mode". There are some pros and cons as with every game.

The Xbox Live portion is a hell of a lot more fun because of the co-op play (as it should be) I'm still making my way through it and will update you guys when I'm done.

Now, I picked mine up at Sam's since it was $55 bucks before taxes, and it came with a downloadable Golden Proton Pack. Every penny counts, right?

Oh, as for the hype about being limited to certain platforms, it was just that...hype! The game is out on 360 PSP, PS2,Wii, PC, Nintendo DS.

Wow I'm glad to hear that it's good. I'll have to Check it out. I contacted Atari about getting some review copies but as of yet we are copyless so I'll either be crashing at your house to get a taste of Dr. Peter Venkman and his whitty banter. LOL!!! Ah I just want to blow up the marsh mellow Dude and see if the dogs from hell are in the game. Oh and I can't wait to say "My girl friend sleeps above the covers...4 feet above the covers!"
